School of Rock AllStars Complete 2026 Nationwide Tour, Raising Over $16,000 for Youth Music Education Scholarships

34-Show Tour Across 33 Cities Raises Funds for the Play Without Limits Project

CANTON, MA, UNITED STATES, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- School of Rock, the global leader in performance-based music education and a portfolio brand of Youth Enrichment Brands, today announced that the 2026 School of Rock AllStars Tour raised over 16,000 dollars for the Play Without Limits Project (PWLP), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides scholarships, giving students who may not otherwise have the opportunity access to School of Rock programs. The funds were raised throughout the 10-day, 34-show tour in 33 cities across the United States this past summer.

"This tour represented everything we love about School of Rock. Our AllStars delivered incredible performances night after night, but what made this tour especially meaningful was seeing them use their voices beyond music," said Stacey Ryan, President of School of Rock. "They stood up in front of packed rooms, shared what School of Rock has meant to them, and made the case for giving more kids the same opportunity. I couldn't be prouder of the talent and heart they brought to every stop."

This year's class of 162 students from 99 school locations across the globe, including the United States, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Canada, Australia, and South Africa, was divided into six teams and played iconic venues including Trees in Dallas, Sony Hall in New York, House of Blues in San Diego, and 3Ten at ACL Live in Austin. House Bands from nearby School of Rock locations joined as supporting acts at each stop. Less than 1% of School of Rock's global student body earns a spot on the AllStars Tour, making it the most prestigious achievement in the organization's community.

The students who completed this tour reflect the breadth of what a School of Rock education can produce. Luke, 18, of Schaumburg, Illinois, can pinpoint the exact moment a guitar solo changed the direction of his life, an experience that led him to choose the University of Leeds to study Music Psychology. Jameson, 15, of Natick, Massachusetts, joined School of Rock at eight years old and just completed her first AllStars Tour, having grown up almost entirely inside the program. Gabriella, 17, of Chicago, spent the tour simultaneously interning for a sitting U.S. representative, representing Team Illinois at National History Day in Washington, D.C., and organizing an 800-person Model UN conference, which is a reminder that former AllStars have gone on to careers in medicine, robotics, aerospace engineering, and beyond.

Their words captured what the program means to those who go through it. "Before School of Rock, I was a very shy person, had very little self-confidence, and just didn't have a community I could call home," said Darin P., 15, of Deptford, New Jersey. "I started to open up — like a flower finally blossoming and showing its true colors." For Tacio Boyle, 18, of Schaumburg, Illinois, the impact was even more fundamental: "I can't say School of Rock changed me — because School of Rock made me." And perhaps no student said it more simply than Anne C., 17, of Chile, who wrote: "School of Rock saved my life."

The fundraising total represents direct scholarship support for students who may not otherwise have access to School of Rock's programs, a mission the AllStars embraced throughout the tour. "Every kid should have the chance to find out what music can do for them," said Ian Hamilton, Executive Director of the Play Without Limits Project. "The generosity shown by fans and supporters at every stop on this tour will directly change the lives of young musicians who need this opportunity most."

The impact these scholarships create is documented in School of Rock's own research. The 2025 Social Impact Study*, commissioned by School of Rock and conducted in partnership with third-party research firm Sound Diplomacy, found that 84.8% of parents recognized meaningful progress in their child's confidence, communication, and ability to engage in group settings since starting at School of Rock. 87.1% reported having better, more meaningful conversations and a stronger connection with their child, and 96.2% reported noticeable improvement in their child's self-confidence overall.

*Statistics from survey commissioned by School of Rock and administered by a third-party consultancy from 4/26-5/7/2025. Distributed to parents of currently enrolled students under the age of 18, with 1,443 parents completing the survey out of a total population of 19,302 minor students. This corresponds to a margin of error of ±2.48% at a 95% confidence level. Survey data based on a sample population’s self-reported experience.
